The Ninth Circle

I don't actually recall enough of The Inferno to remember all the circles of Hell, but nine sounds about right for me now. It's been work, work, work for ten days in a row, and I am heartily sick of looking at that place. I have today off, and then the weekend as well; I am beyond thrilled.

Oh - I looked it up - the ninth circle is traitors. Quite propos, as the lovely cabled cardi has turned on me. Bad enough it was hotter than blue blazes and I was still trying to survive knitting a big wool sweater. But now it's gotten worse.
Ladies & gentleman (that's you, Boy-O), I have been marooned (insert creepy tv theme: dun dun DUN): on Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve Island.

Sleeves. Possibly the least exciting picture ever. Oh look, there's lint! Perhaps that will substitute for visual interest.

I know, I know: I said I'd never try to knit both sleeves at the same time again, since it caused the earth to crumble and the seas to roil me to abandon the last sweater I attempted to make for my beloved, but I've been trying super-duper hard to be focused, to ignore my (knitting-specific) ADD and continue my winning streak of finishing one thing before I start something else.

Oops.

  • WOW -- I love that yarn! What's the new project?!?!? Sorry, I'm probably not helping with the knitting ADD! Trust me though, I know your pain!!
