Seeing is Believing

The giant thing on the front lawn that we thought was celery? Is now huge.
Turns out, it's an artichoke. There are actually several small ones growing there, high above my darling one's head.

Just another thing to love about life in Oregon, I guess. Giant man-eating plants.

  • Actually, I've been meaning to tell you, it's a Cardoon, which is of the artichoke family, but grows HUGE. I think they're so cool, and by the way they look I'm convinced they were around during the dinosaur age. I admire them everytime I drive/walk by your house. :)
